I wanted to build a Killough Omni directional platform from Lego like this one. Unfortunatly I found my Lego® Mindstorms Robotics Invention System 2.0™ severely lacking in the pieces required to construct this design. So I decided to design and build my own using only pieces you can find in RIS 2.0, Exploration Mars (for the round wheels) and one additional Lego geared motor. If you have your own tires with a diametre of 43.2mm you will only require the RIS 2.0 and an additional geared motor.
